Reservation Policy

To ensure a smooth experience for everyone and maintain the quality of our small-group surf trips, please review the following reservation and cancellation policies before booking.

RESERVATIONS & PAYMENT

To secure your spot on a Halia surf trip, a deposit is required at the time of booking.

Due to the limited number of spots available on each trip, reservations are confirmed only after the deposit has been received.

The remaining balance must be paid before the trip departure. The exact payment deadline will be communicated after booking confirmation.

If the final balance is not received by the indicated deadline, Halia reserves the right to release the spot and offer it to another participant.

GROUP SIZE & LIMITED SPOTS

Halia surf trips are designed to provide high-quality coaching and personalized attention.

For this reason, each trip has limited spots available and small group sizes. Once a trip is full, we may create a waiting list in case a spot becomes available.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you need to cancel your reservation, the following conditions apply:

More than 60 days before the trip
The deposit is non-refundable, but it may be transferred to another Halia trip within the following 12 months if a replacement participant is found.

30–60 days before the trip
50% of the total trip price is non-refundable.

Less than 30 days before the trip
100% of the trip price is non-refundable.

Because trips involve advance bookings with local partners (accommodation, boats, transport, etc.), we recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellations.

TRIP CHANGES

Halia reserves the right to adjust the trip itinerary if necessary due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Surf conditions

  • Safety considerations

  • Operational reasons

  • Or a full refund of the amount paid.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Participants are responsible for having valid travel insurance covering:

  • Surf activities
